The Hole in the Wall paddling club is hosting this year's Tri-Club Picnic, which includes both NSSKA and WAKE (Whatcom Association of Kayak Enthusiasts). Save the date! Families welcome, no need to register. Here is the tentative lineup:

Arrive Bowman Bay around 9:30 and launch at 10 a.m. to play in Deception Pass as the ebb fades to slack at 11:12 a.m. Paddle one loop under the bridge and back to Bowman Bay. And/or come at 11:30 to join a noon paddle. Biz point? Deception Island? Simply in Bowman Bay, Rosario Head area?

The picnic will start at 3 p.m. Bring a potluck dish, beverage and your own dishes/cutlery. And a Discover Pass for parking, of course. There will be a free raffle of kayak related goodies. And a gear swap. So bring paddle/camp gear you want to sell or give away. Label items with a price and your name.
