About this event
NSSKA members Sandra Relyea and Karen Bertram will take us river paddling—both near and far. They’ll start with an overview of whitewater basics and suggestions for getting started on local rivers. Karen will show us three, multi-day river trips that reward paddlers with great scenery and paddler camaraderie. Sandra will describe how she prepared for a 2024 trip to Bhutan to paddle six rivers in the Himalayas, and she’ll show highlights of that trip.
