This fundamentals class is designed to introduce new or newer paddler to moving water.

We will apply the skills learned in the FOSK1 Flat Water class to moving water by crossing eddy lines and entering and exiting currents. We will also discuss the environment, wind, water speed; the 50/90 Rule, water height: the Rule of 12ths, ebb and flood tide, and the effect of the moon and sun on our watery environment.
